"For all the negative things we might say (or believe) about ourselves, God always has a positive answer."
THINGS WE SAY:
It's impossible.
I'm too tired.
Nobody really loves me.
I can't go on.
I can't figure this out.
I can't do it.
It's not worth it.
I can't forgive myself.
I can't manage.
I'm afraid.
I am always worried and frustrated.
I don't have enough faith.
I'm not smart enough.
I feel all alone.
WHAT GOD SAYS:
All things are possible.
(Luke 18:27)
I will give you rest.
(Matt. 11:28-30)
I love you.
(John 3:16 - John 13:34)
My grace is sufficient.
(2 Cor. 12:9 - Psalm 91:15)
I will direct your steps.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
You can do all things with me.
(Phil. 4:13)
It will be worth it.
(Romans 8:28)
I forgave you.
(1 John 1:9 - Romans 8:1)
I will supply all your needs.
(Phil. 4:19)
I have not given you a spirit of fear.
(2 Timothy 1:7)
Cast all your cares on me.
(1 Peter 5:7)
I have given everyone a measure of faith.
(Romans 12:3)
I'll give you wisdom.
(1 Cor. 1:30)
I will never leave you or forsake you.
(Hebrews 13:5)
The Enemy loves it when he can fill us with all sorts of junk, including lies. Instead of listening to those lies, we should identify them as such and look towards the truth. The worse the Enemy can make you feel, the better he feels. Stop listening to him and listen to God.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psalm 12:6

Hi,
My name is Rich Dymmel. I got to you by clicking on my son’s profile “college ministry” at the blog he set up at http://crimsonandwhite.blogspot.com/
I’ll give you the real short version. If you’re interested in more detail, check out our web site at www.CrimsonWhite.org or email me at rdymmel@aol.com
We started a letter of encouragement targeted at college students in summer ’98 with 37 students. Our direct mailing list just crossed 400 plus 35 churches that make copies for their students plus 75 that go to businesses and doctor offices. The publication, called Crimson & White Connection, is produced about 18 times a year, every 3 weeks, that’s our target.
If I’ve tweaked your interest, either to maybe get on our mailing list for yourself, free, or to use it to minister to a group, also free, check out the web site. There is a statement of what we do and what we believe, some back issues to download (pdf files), some other resources like witnessing postcards, an explanation about getting it free for a group, and links to other resources.
Dr. Richard R. Dymmel, Ed.D.
(Gee, Ed.D., the same as Bill Cosby! Maybe someday I'll be funny, rich, and famous, too! - Yea, right.)
Character and values determine what you do when no one sees, hears, or knows.
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to McDonalds makes you a cheeseburger.
Editor and producer of the Crimson & White Connection -
a free letter of encouragement on values, morals, relationships, and
the spiritual life targeted toward students (and read by MANY others, too).
